Responsibilities:
SunGard Inc., a world leader in the Availability Services and Financial Systems industries, has an opening for an Information Security Auditor in our Corporate Audit Department in Wayne, PA.

This position is focused on the planning, analysis and assessment of the control environment associated with the technology and systems that support SunGard at all of its locations, and therefore, entails approximately 30-40% domestic and international travel. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of information systems controls in the data processing operations, application development systems, and disaster recovery centers.

Responsibilities:
 Ability to analyze various types of information security configurations and provide a gap analysis between security policies and existing configurations. These environments include both operating systems and network configurations.
 Ability to effectively communicate to technical and non-technical personnel the status of the security environment
 Assess the reliability of information systems examined and all other related areas as directed. Assure compliance with information systems internal controls, statutory regulations if applicable, and SunGard policies.
 Thoroughly document results in audit work papers and reports.
 Advise management on risks and best security practices.
 Actively participate in lessons learned sessions following audits.
 Attend and participate in planning calls and close meetings.

Requirements:
 Minimum four-year college degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field or related work equivalent.
 Experience and technical knowledge of at least two of the following platforms/technologies:
 Operating Systems – Windows NT/2K/2003, Active Directory, UNIX, Linux, Web Servers
 Database – Oracle, SQL, Sybase
 Network Infrastructure - firewalls, routers, switches.
 CISA or CISSP certification a plus
 Must have exceptional analytical skills.
 Knowledge of disaster recovery/business continuity a plus.
 Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle a plus.
 Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
 Ability to work with minimal supervision and provide all requirements in a timely manner.
 Must be self-motivated, team player who works well in a deadline-intensive environment.
 Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
